Garlic Cheese Rolls

Sunday, January 10, 2010

I started this recipe with my usual stand-by recipe for dinner rolls. Then I added the garlic butter and cheese to finish them off. These were absolutely divine! The kids and the hubs have asked me to make them again soon. :)

Garlic Cheese Rolls

3/4 cup milk, warmed
6 tablespoons soft butter
1 egg, beaten
3 cups bread flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/4 cup butter
1 clove garlic, crushed & chopped
2 TB Parmesan cheese

Place ingredients into bread machine according to manufacturers directions. Select dough cycle. When cycle is complete divide dough into 12 equal pieces and roll into balls; place in 8x11 inch pan. Melt butter and stir in garlic, pour over rolls. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and let rise for 30-40 minutes. Bake at 350F for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
