Tacos

My kids will not eat tacos if I use a packaged taco mix so I had to come up with a not too spicy but still good alternative.  Here is my recipe.

Brown your ground beef

While your ground beef is browning mix up your spices. Shot glass not necessary but works nice. :)
Go ahead get a shot of something if you need to - just rinse the glass first.

Add some water and the spices and let simmer for a bit.  Now this isn't going to be red like the packaged stuff, but don't worry it will taste good.

Place meat on tortilla and top with your favorite toppings. Then eat!

Tacos

1 tsp chili powder
3/4 tsp paprika
3/4 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/8 tsp garlic powder
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1 lb. ground beef
8-10 flour tortillas (or your favorite taco shell)
Your favorite toppings - cheese, lettuce, tomato, salsa, ect.

Instructions:
Brown ground beef & drain. Return to pan and add spices. Add a little water & simmer for 5-10 minutes. Place meat on tortilla and top with cheese and other toppings.
